What is a tiny house?
When people use the term tiny house, they are often referring to a home built using conventional methods but on the scale of an RV travel trailer. These homes are often built on flatbed trailers. But small cabins, cottages, and other small residences can also be considered tiny houses. So the term is not so much an exclusive definition, but an inclusive category of extremely small residences.

Granny flats are often used to accommodate elderly parents, adult children, or guests, providing them with privacy and independence while still being close to the main residence.
Are tiny homes a good investment?
It depends, Tiny Homes don’t appreciate and depreciate like the traditional housing market. As a capital product it may not be considered a sound financial investment. However what you do with your granny flat (such as renting via Airbnb) can make your Tiny Home a good financial investment. If living in the Tiny Home, although the home itself isn’t appreciating like a normal home could, you and your family are making substantial savings regarding the cost of living. You’re also investing in sustainability by reducing your carbon footprint.
Can I put a tiny house on my property?
Yes! You can park a Tiny House on your own property.
Why should I build a granny flat and rent it out as Airbnb?
Renting out a granny flat on Airbnb is a smart idea because it gives you extra money from guests staying there. You can also use it yourself when you don’t have guests. Plus, short-term rentals like Airbnb can bring in more money than long-term rentals. It’s like having a little money-making cottage in your backyard!
