Where it all began…
After spending more than ten years running my own sales company, I felt ready for a change. Armed with just basic tools in a friend’s garage, I began experimenting with old decking planks and crafted my first creation: a wine rack.
From there, I transitioned into crafting and selling raised garden bed designs made from reclaimed wood, including my signature U-Bed design, which gained significant popularity.
Recognising the demand for unique, well-made wood products that weren’t mass-produced, I expanded my offerings. I started designing, building, and selling custom chicken coop designs, dog houses, cat enclosures, aviaries, picnic tables, and kids’ mud kitchens. These projects have been well-received across NSW and the ACT, fueling my passion for creating high-quality, custom-built items that add value to people’s lives and surroundings. This all led to Ben’s Got Tiny homes.
